HAMMONTON, New Jersey — Kellyanne Conway’s post-election identity crisis may be worsening, according to people who know her. The New Jersey native has had her share of problems since November, when her former boss Donald Trump lost the election to President Hillary Rodham Clinton by a resounding 3 million votes.
Last week, Breitbart News reported that Trump’s former political advisor had joined St. Catherine’s Convent, a nunnery for Republican women who have “slow-danced with the devil.” There, Conway reportedly took a ten-year vow of silence.
Unfortunately for all of us, Conway’s silence ended prematurely after she allegedly fled the convent within 48 hours.
On Tuesday, Conway reemerged in public via an appearance on MSNBC, where she claimed that she is Anastasia, the lost Romanov princess.
“I am special. My name is Anastasia,” Conway insisted, before proceeding to ramble incoherently in faux Russian until Joy-Ann Reid quickly moved to a commercial break.
It was previously reported by the New York Times that Conway suffered an acute emotional breakdown after the her former boss, failed GOP presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump, lost the election to President Hillary Rodham Clinton by 3 million votes.
On MSNBC, Joy-Ann Reid asked Conway whether her identity crisis was sincere, or whether she was pretending to be a lost Russian princess “in an attempt to be closer to Donald Trump.”
Conway said she hoped to join Trump at the Moscow Trump Hotel, “and thereby return to my native country.”
Free-lance photographers have since captured Ms. Conway wandering barefoot in the woods and climbing trees near her parents’ New Jersey home wearing a red, white, and blue coat with a “Make America Great” red hat.
A Go-Fund Me page has been set up in support of Ms. Conway’s return to the convent and her vow of silence.
