TOWN OF NEWBURGH,NY – Two San Elizario, Texas men are in the Orange County Jail without bail after they were stopped in the Town of Newburgh with 10 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $3.6 million.
Orange County,NY Sheriff’s deputies spotted a tractor-trailer following a car too closely then stopped the truck as it headed toward the Thruway.
During the traffic stop investigation, deputies performed a probable cause search of the truck. K-9s from the sheriff’s office and State Police located a sack with 10 kilos of the drug.
Arrested were Saul Onzures, and Francisco Castillo, Jr., both 43, and from Elizario, Texas, a city in El Paso County.
They were each charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
